REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Louisiana Environmental Education Commission will conduct environmental education short courses for formal and non-formal educators in each region of the state on Saturday, February 16, 2019. These short courses are intended to provide continuing education for both formal and non-formal educators, and to provide formal educators with Continuing Learning Units (CLUs). The short course may be designed as a half-day (3-4 contact hours) or all-day (7 contact hours) hands-on workshop or tour. The content of each short course should complement Louisiana Student Standards for Science. The deadline for submissions is October 1, 2018.
Events should reserve one half hour for lunch, which will be provided. Participants will be charged $20 to cover the cost of food and limited transportation. The LEEC will organize, advertise and collect registration fees on behalf of presenters.
