No, your participation is completely voluntary, but if you do agree to take part and complete the study, you must be aware that you will not be able to withdraw your answers after submission. What will I be asked to do if I take part?

If you decide you would like to take part, and have completed the consent form, you will be asked to answer four questionnaires online. The following questionnaires will assess parental styles, family relationship dimensions, as well as a questionnaire asking about your child’s behaviour. These questionnaires should take you around 20-25 minutes to complete.

*Please note that you will not receive your individual results from the questionnaires.
After you have completed these questionnaires, you will be directed to a debrief where you will be reminded of the purpose of this study as well as be provided with a list of numbers and services in case any of the questions upset or distressed you in any way. Similarly, my contact details as well as my supervisors are included if you wish to contact us directly.
