Taking the fear out of research writing: 18 September (Bellville)
Facilitator: Prof Louise Vincent

About the workshop:
Participants are encouraged to see writing as a way of thinking, as linked to reading and a method for the generation of ideas rather than merely for recording ideas. The workshop addresses conventional wisdom about academic writing by sharing research on the practices adopted by successful writers. Participants are offered a range of practical techniques to develop their own writing voice and ability to be authoritative in their writing.
