The lessons are scheduled to take place during the school day, following a rotating timetable during curriculum lessons, and lunchtime. The music timetables change from week to week to cause the minimum disruption to curriculum lessons. Students must ensure that any work missed during music lessons is completed in their own time.

The lessons last for 30 minutes on a weekly basis during term time only. The school provides a minimum of 30 lessons, per student, during each academic year. Please note, that if a student is absent from school, the instrumental teacher is not obliged to reschedule the lesson. However, if the teacher misses the lesson he/she will endeavour to make up the lesson at the next available opportunity.

We would prefer that your child only had one teacher per instrument, whether that be in or out of school.
