Thank you for your interest in volunteering with For Otis Sake Rescue! Volunteers play a vital role within our organization. Without your support, we would not be able to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome as many animals as we do.

Please complete the volunteer application below and select the activities that most interest you. Upon receipt of this completed form, you will be notified of upcoming volunteer orientations. Specifics regarding each volunteer activity will be discussed further at that meeting. Depending on the activities you choose, additional training or information may be recommended/required.

Please select the volunteer activities that interest you. Mark all that apply. *

Fostering: Open your home and provide training and care to a rescued dog, accompany the dog to adoption events, meet and greets, and other events. FOS covers all medical expenses, food and other necessities for our foster animals.

Home Visits: Visit potential foster and adopter homes to ensure that animals will receive the training and care that they need to flourish.

Transport: Transport animals to/from fosters, boarding facilities, vet appointments, events, etc. Support other transport events by walking/watering animals.

Adoption Events: Help facilitate adoption events by: handling dogs, meeting with potential adopters, answering questions about the FOS adoption process and organization, and other tasks associated with the event.

Special Events: Attend special events and provide assistance as needed (setting up/tearing down, selling merchandise, serving refreshments, parking vehicles, selling tickets, etc.)

Fundraising: Help coordinate fundraising activities and sell tickets or other items associated with fundraising efforts. (FOS merchandise, raffle tickets, event tickets, etc.) Solicit donations from local businesses and organizations as needed.

Marketing/PR: Help spread the word about the For Otis Sake Rescue, activities, events and fundraisers through various outlets (mailings, email, social media outlets, posters, etc.)
