ReCESS RSVP - January 19, 2016
With TCDC's 3rd Annual Education Research Conference rapidly approaching, we though we'd recognize the little pressure and anxiety that sometimes comes with preparing for a conference presentation. As ReCESS returns for the Spring 2017 Semester, we invite any and all who would like to join in for lunch to share a little about work they're interested in presenting, either in TCDC's conference or any upcoming this year. We'd also like to open the discussion for folks who have had successful experiences with conference presentations to share their own tips, tricks, and strategies for fighting those pre-conference jitters and achieving presentation success. As always, our monthly meeting is a chance to share a meal (which we’ll provide) with fellow doctoral students and build community through conversation.

This first meet-up of the semester is scheduled for Thursday, January 19, from 12:00pm-1:15pm, in Farmer 302 (“the Grad Space”) with lunch provided (but you can bring your own if you like!).

As always, we’ll provide good nutritious food and excellent company. As in prior sessions, we continue to welcome discussion about your work as a graduate student any stage of the process – research designs in flux, a qualifying paper gone haywire, problems in data analysis, or polished conference or job presentations.

To RSVP, fill out this Google Form by next Tuesday, January 17th, and let us know if you’ve got any food restrictions.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!!
