Aloha Maui Preparatory Academy Families. Here is the lunch order form for November and December.
We look forward to continuing to serve you lunches from our catering business Nalu Grindz, owned and run by husband and wife team Kanamu Balinbin and Richelle Balinbin. This is a third party business not owned or administrated by Maui Prep. All questions, comments, and concerns should be directed by e-mail to Richelle at
nalugrindz@gmail.com. You should receive an e-mail response within 24 hours.
All food orders should be placed online on this form. For the purposes of clean administration and efficient record-keeping, please use this digital form to submit your orders.
We will post the menu and orders for the week every Monday on the bulletin board in the dining hall, so students can check and see any time throughout the week if and when they have school lunch, and what will be served.
If parents want digital copies of what orders, simply e-mail Richelle this request, and we shall send you a copy of our digital record, so you can easily access your order.
This year students who want to eat lunch but haven't ordered their food online will need to write their names down on an add-on list and they will be served after those students who have ordered their food online. Students and families will receive a bill for these add-on lunches. Best and most respectful practice is to order in advance.
Students should eat what they order and not change their minds on the spot. Different items have different prices, and the kitchen has limited quantities of each item.
As a reminder, if students are sick or absent and thus unable to claim their lunches, they may roll the funds over in their account for future lunches. Kanamu and Richelle ask that you e-mail as soon as you are aware of an absence, so that they may plan accordingly. In order to plan effectively, you must send an e-mail to Richelle and Kanamu by 9 PM the night before an absence. If the absence is extended, then please communicate this as well.
Payment will continue to run through PayPal. This is the easiest and most convenient payment method. However, if you prefer to pay by check, you can submit your check to the front office.
If you are ordering for multiple students, you need to fill out a form for each student. However, you can pay all at once on PayPal by adding up the sum total of each of your students and paying that fee. For example, if you have five children, you would fill out his form five times, but you would only need to send your payment through one time.
