TURN UP FOR STEAM STUDENT APPLICATION
The purpose of this event is to increase students’ interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math (STEAM), to promote education and careers in STEM, and to support students, particularly under-served and under-represented students with limited opportunities or access to resources in these areas. This event is geared toward students with no prior experience in computer science or programming. The Turn Up for STEAM event is being offered FREE of charge to students ages 13-18. Thanks to our sponsor and facility host.
Parent/Guardian and student must complete and submit the student application form. If selected to participate, students must be accompanied to the event by the Parent/Guardian/Organization Leader/Guidance Counselor indicated on the application (parents please bring state issued identification). Parent/Guardian/Organization Leader/Guidance Counselor authorization is required (via signature) at check-in prior to student participation. The student will not be allowed to participate without it.
By completing this application, you agree to the rules, regulations and disclaimer included in the event program information. Parent/Guardian, if your student is selected to participate in this year event, you will receive the Release of Risk and Liability Form, which will need to SIGNED by June 15, 2019. Deadline extended to 15 June 2019.
