Kay Memmott Award for Excellence
The Kay Memmott Award for Excellence is to acknowledge someone who has worked hard for Science Technicians, shown to their colleagues excellence in their endeavours. This person may be someone who goes the extra mile for local technicians – they may organise the local meetings or they may be that person that can be contacted in a hurry for advice.
This award will be presented biennially at the ConSTANZ dinner.
This award can only be presented in person, therefore the nominee must be able to attend the Conference dinner.
Applications close Friday September 9, 2022.
Criteria:
Anyone may nominate a person who is a member of STANZ, is in a current science technician role and is not a member of the current Executive committee. Repeat nominations will be accepted.
This is a members choice award.
The executive will contact the nominator and may contact the candidate's HOD for further information.
The selection process and results are kept confidential. In the event of multiple nominations the Executive committee will make the final decision.
