Open House: Sharing Culture and Identity Through Food
An issue that has been discussed recently within the Latinx community is the failure to be inclusive of all Latinx identities. One way La Alianza hopes to help address this is through an Open House on sharing culture and identity. This event will allow interested students to volunteer to showcase a food or dessert that is important to them and their culture. We hope that they can then share this with the community as a way to spotlight the beautiful variety within our Latinx community on campus.

The budget for ingredients will be $20-30 (we will provide you with this money!). We plan on hosting various of these events this term.
