Through our work, an understanding of children’s brain development has already begun to spread. Indeed, company executives, federal policymakers, and community leaders have acknowledged the pivotal role that this research has played in increasing their support of early childhood programs. Building on this momentum, the ReadyNation Brain Science Speakers Bureau will enable us to meet the growing demand for access to important research and connect highly credentialed, knowledgeable scholars with communities. By signing up as a ReadyNation Fellow, we will assist you to educate lay audiences—policymakers, business leaders, civic leaders, philanthropists, and others who influence public and private resources for early care and education—by offering compelling, visual presentations about what happens in a baby’s brain during their first years and how early experiences shape lifelong trajectories.
