We have been advised by branding companies that our association name is a, well, a mouthful and perhaps we need to reconsider the name we currently go by either in an official capacity or have a common "alias"

We are cognisant of the history of the association and the goodwill that does exist with the name - but are also not closed to moving with modern times. but we need to hear the voice of the clubs.
