Welcome, and thank you for stopping by!  You probably own or have seen one of these cars recently, so I hope you can take a moment to provide a little information about any AWD 97-98 Talons you know about.  Did you know that, for Model Year 1997 and 1998, only a total of 2522 of these cars were built in the AWD+Turbo configuration?  That's not very many, and now that they have been around for 25+ years there aren't too many of them left.  Every time the sun comes up there's a chance another one of them is heading to a junkyard to be picked clean and smashed forever.

This questionnaire is meant to collect and preserve knowledge about the ORIGINAL configurations and current status & whereabouts of these rare 1997-1998 Eagle Talon TSI AWD cars.  Quite a bit of information about them, such as paint color, interior color, transmission type, is already available electronically, but now it's up to PEOPLE, not computers, to help fill in some of the blanks.  For some reason, the Mitsubishi part lookup database (called CAPS or ASA) does not have information about whether a particular VIN has a sunroof, ABS brakes, limited-slip rear diff, power seats, radio type, or keyless entry.  That is why I need YOU to help locate these cars and describe some of the finer details and features!

Please supply ONLY legitimate data about the car's original configuration!  Please do not paste mod-lists.

Because this form aims to collect information about 97-98 AWD Talons, it is best to test the VIN validity (free) at Carfax, Mitsubishi Parts, or some other VIN-related service - to make sure that the VIN is not a 95-96, a non-turbo, or a FWD.
