Civic Design 2017 - UC San Diego
This course scaffolds the human-centered design process as part of the "Design for San Diego" challenge in Fall 2017.  If you have registered for the challenge through the D4SD.org website, you will be invited to participate in up to six sessions leading up to the challenge deadline (Oct 22).  All sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7pm.
Oct 3:  Team formation and user research (Guest: Dan Russell from Google)
Oct 5:  Problem framing and ideation (Guests: Arnaud Vedy and Andrell Bower from City of San Diego)
Oct 10: Rapid prototyping Special guest: (Guest: Scott Robinson: President of the Design Forward Alliance)
Oct 12: User research presentations
Oct 17: Visual design for posters/videos
Oct 19: Studio time for prototypes, posters, and entries (Guest: Daniel Obodovski, Founder & Managing Partner, SCALE SD)
