Do you love playing games? Want to learn design skills, develop your own board game, and be part of peer test plays? Sign up for Game Makers!
The West Lafayette Public Library Gamemaker is a 9-session program that allows participants to go through the design process to create their own board game. Participants will play games, build their own, and then present their game idea to a panel of local entrepreneurs.
The camp is free and runs on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM from September 19th through November 14th. Game Makers is open to students ages 13-18.
Because there are a limited number of spots and each session is meant to build off the last, attendees must be able to attend most sessions. Excessive absences may mean your spot in the program is forfeited.
