ATN: CARES Assent/Consent to Contact
You are being invited to participate in this study, A Comprehensive Community-based Strategy to Optimize the HIV Prevention & Treatment Continuum for Youth at HIV Risk, Acutely Injected and with Established HIV Infection, because you are between the ages of 12 and 24. Joining this study is your choice. You do not have to volunteer if you don't want to.

The people responsible for this study are: Dr. Mary Jane Rotheram from the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles and partners at Tulane University, and the LA LGBT Center.

This study is being done to find out the best ways to support youth at-risk for HIV infection, or who are living with HIV, or who are newly infected with HIV.

If you agree to the first steps called "screening," we will complete the following tests in order to figure out which study you fit into: a finger-stick blood test for HIV; and, a short interview to ask you questions about your lifestyle and habits.

By completing this form, you agree to be contacted for future screening to make sure you are eligible.
