BronyCon's Security team is responsible for making sure that attendees feel safe and welcome at BronyCon. We are the face of the convention, walking the convention space and helping as the need arises. Security is also responsible for line control and crowd control at large events during the weekend, and we have a medical team that is responsible for handling any medical incidents that arise during the convention. Above all, Security is one of the most active and visible parts of the convention, and sets the tone for our attendee experience.

As a member of BronyCon Security staff, you will be expected to be able to roam the convention space for up to 8 hours (with breaks), stand in one spot for long periods of time, run or jog a fair distance through the convention space, become familiar with our policies and procedures, operate equipment such as radios, and be able to interface with attendees, other staff, and everyone else in the convention space in a friendly and welcoming manner. Details you will be assigned throughout the weekend may involve large crowds, loud music and noises, and enclosed spaces such as elevators. We can also make accommodations for most positions within Security.

Please note that you must be at least 18 years old by the Thursday before the convention to work, and you must be on site at the convention by noon on the Thursday before the convention.
