Law 3 - A team starts a game with 7 players. During the second half, a player needs to leave the field of play to receive treatment for a head injury. What should the referee do now? *

The referee continues the match until the player returns

The referee abandons the match as the team now only has 6 players

Law 3 - A player is running with the ball down the wing when he is recklessly tripped by a substitute who is warming up off the field of play. What should the referee do? *

Stop play, send off the substitute and restart play with a direct free kick

Law 4 - A player is wearing green socks and white ankle protectors. What should the referee do? *

The importance of this law in grassroots football is not that great, so warn the player and get on with the game

In order not to upset the player, tell them that on another day another referee may make them change but don't worry about it for this game

Unfortunatley Law is Law and the player will have to remove the ankle protectors OR put them underneath their socks

Law 4 - During a league cup final, you notice a player is wearing a wedding ring. After asking the player to leave the field of play to remove the ring, when can she return to the field of play? *

She can return to the field of play after removing the ring during the next stoppage

She can return to the field of play only when the referee has checked that the ring has been removed

Law 4 - A player loses their shinguard, quite accidentally during the game and then plays the ball. What should the referee do? *

Allow play to continue as no offence has been committed. The player must put the shinguard back in at the next stoppage in play

Law 13 - what action do you take if a player tries to take a quick free kick but is prevented from doing so by a player who deliberately steps in front of them and blocking the ball? *

Stop the game, restart with the original free kick and make sure the defending team are a minimum of 9.15m from the ball
