2019 Connections Conference Fee Waiver Application
This is an application for a fee waiver for the 2019 Connections Conference at Central Michigan University.

In accordance with FAFSA, any student with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $0 to $5000 qualifies for a full fee waiver.

In order for your waiver to be processed, you must complete your conference registration by visiting cmich.edu/leadership. After your registration is submitted and this form has been completed, your waiver will be applied to your student account.

What is my EFC?
When students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Federal Processor uses a system developed by Congress that determines the Expected Family Contribution (EFC). The EFC is an estimate of the family’s ability to pay for post-secondary education based on this federal methodology.

Your EFC is indicated on your Financial Aid award notice. You must have completed your FAFSA in order to obtain your EFC. Any questions may be directed to the Office of Financial Aid at CMUOSFA@CMICH.EDU or (989)774-3674.

Fee Waiver Statement of Acceptance
My signature below acknowledges that should I fail to attend the Connections Conference or neglect to cancel my registration before the drop deadline of October 30th, 2019, I will be held responsible for the full $75.00 conference fee. My signature authorizes approval for my CMU student account to be billed $75.00 for the conference in the event I fail to attend the program or neglect to cancel my conference registration.
