Dr. Peng Liu
Dr. Peng Liu is a professor of Martial Arts from Xi’an Physical Education University, China. He has taught Classical Martial Arts: Quanshu, Biangan, Swordplay, Cudgelplay; Chen-style Tai Chi; 24-style Simplified Tai Chi; The History of Chinese Martial Arts and Chinese Culture; Modern Competition Martial Arts; Chinese Traditional Martial Arts, and etc.  

Course Description:  
Tai Chi originally refers to Chinese classical philosophy that the world is made up of two opposite sides: Yang and Yin. Yang is a collective name for positive for a thing, while Yin for negative. Yang includes motion, hard, advance, open, flexion, tense, high, man, attack, etc. while Yin includes stillness, soft, retreat, close, extension, low, woman, defense, etc. This course will cover skills of Zhanzhuang (Standing-pole), basic skill of Tai Chi, and 24-style, 42-style Tai Chi.
