The time has come to submit nominations for PTA Board officers for the 2020-2021 school year. We encourage you to look over the descriptions of each board position located on the back of this form. Keep in mind that not all positions have big time commitments and there are various resources to assist you. These include training and support from NEISD council and assistance from other board members. The nominating committee will review all returned nomination forms. The selected board will be submitted for approval at the Coker PTA General Meeting on April 3, 2018.

Position *

President (Coordinates the work of the officers and committees of the PTA; presides at all meetings; appoints certain chairs and non-elected board members; represents Coker to the Council.)

1st VP/ Programs (Coordinates grade-level programs with the music teachers and coaches; presides in the absence of the president.)

2nd VP/ Fundraising (Plans, coordinates and executes the Fall Fundraiser and other fundraising events as needed.)

3rd VP/ Membership (Executes membership drives to gain PTA members.)

Secretary (Records the minutes of all meetings; keeps accurate record of attendance of executive board meetings, responsible for correspondence.)

Treasurer (Keeps books of account and records including bank statements, receipts, budgets, invoices, etc. for five years; has custody of all the funds of the association, gives report of current state of finances at meetings, submits books to the audit committee as requested.)
