The Vernal, UT Joyful Living Women's Conference will be held at the Uintah Conference Center in Vernal, UT August 10-11, 2018. WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR VOLUNTEERS  


Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 2018 Vernal, UT Joyful Living Women's Conference!
We have 5 options for you to choose from:

1) Set-up & Registration on Friday August 10, 2018 (FULL- wait list only)- Volunteers will be expected to be present at the Uintah Center at 7:00 am to assist with set-up and attendee registration. Duties will require that you commit for 3 hours, until 10:00 am. We ask that you wear nice black pants or skirt with a black collared shirt or blouse. 6 volunteers are needed for this time slot, and will receive in return a complimentary registration and audio download of all the conference talks.

2) Room Hosts on Friday August 10, 2018 (FULL- wait list only) Volunteers will be assigned to a specific room for the day. Room hosts will be expected to arrive at their assigned rooms as quickly as possible after the keynote address has finished. As attendees enter the room, you will verify that they have a conference issued name badge, and direct them to the registration desk if they do not. You will make sure that the presenter has what they need, and notify a Shine Events staff member of any problems or concerns. We ask that you wear nice black pants/slacks or skirt with a black collared shirt or black blouse. 6 volunteers are needed for these duties, and will receive in return a complimentary registration and free audio download of all the conference talks.

Duties will require that you commit for 3 hours, until 10:00 am. 4) Room Host on Saturday August 11, 2018 - Volunteers will be assigned to a specific room for the day. Room hosts will be expected to arrive at their assigned rooms as quickly as possible after the keynote address has finished. 5) Volunteer Chief Coordinator (FULL- wait list only) This person will be in charge of coordinating all of the volunteers and will need to be available from 6:45 am- 8:30 am on both Friday and Saturday August 10-11. This person will also be responsible for hanging posters, banners, etc. around the Uintah Basin. In exchange for these volunteer services this person will receive 5 complimentary general admission tickets and 5 free audio downloads of the conference talks. If you are interested in this position, you must have attended at least one of the past Joyful Living Women's Conferences.
