Unfortunately, registration for this event is now closed. We have had a much larger response rate than we could have ever imagined. WHO:  Anyone ages 11 and older

WHAT:  We will be offering a FREE community event for any individual age 11 and older to learn basic self defense strategies. With students getting ready to go back to school, and especially those headed off to college, we want to provide them with basic and useful moves and tips to be better prepared.

Former elementary school teacher, Christie McClellan, will be touching on information for teenagers on bully defense and generic self-defense strategies that can be useful at school and outside of school. For the students who are headed off to college, Miss McClellan will be teaching self awareness strategies in addition to self-defense moves. As a 27-year old female, Miss McClellan has a way of connecting with other young females because they can relate to her.

It can be very nerve-wracking to step into a martial arts school for the first time and practice self defense moves with a peer. How can you make it a little easier? Bring a friend! Everyone is welcome to attend, as long as they are 11 years old and older.

This is a FREE one hour event that will be held on Tuesday, July 31st from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. For the first time ever, we will not be putting a cap on the number of students we are accepting for this event and will make sure that everyone is prepared to head back to school.
