EDUC 598: Interfaith Dialogue in Action (informally known as iBelieve) is a unique course developed by the Office of the Chaplain and the Greenfield Intercultural Center. This course will explore the potential for effective interfaith dialogue and action on college campuses through a combination of academic study, facilitated dialogue, and service partnership projects. The course provides students of all religious and non-religious backgrounds with the opportunity to engage with one another and gain greater knowledge and personal understanding of different faith traditions, practices, and beliefs.
In Spring 2018 the course will meet on Thursdays 1:30-4:30. Students will also take part in an overnight group retreat/service trip (MLK Weekend). As iBelieve is also an Academically Based Community Service (ABCS) course students will also take part in a semester long service project with local communities of faith.
