To be eligible for this $500 scholarship, the applicant must have met the following requirements:

* have earned at least a 2.5 weighted GPA;
* upon graduation, plan to attend a college, university, trade or vocational school; and
* have participated in the interview process.

Applicants must also demonstrate the following:
* believe in and demonstrate the value of friendship,
* reflect a positive attitude,
* be active in the community and/or school, and
* show characteristics of leadership.
