Extramural funding can seem like an impregnable fortress. Often times, the mere thought of applying for a grant sets teeth to gnashing and blood pressure soaring. This is a persistent view but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Proposals are a constant in the research landscape. Understanding a proposal’s components and contexts is essential to being competitive. Also integral to your funding success is an acute awareness of evaluation tools and methods.
