Confirmation at Bethany has multiple components - classtime as a group, offsite field trips and activities, a weekend retreat and mentoring. The Confirmation services will be in June - generally we split the youth between the 855 and 11am services. There will be a mandatory rehearsal in the week prior. Confirmation is open to all youth in 8th grade and higher.

Adult Participation
We invite parents and guardians to participate in ALL aspects of the process.  Some activities will need drivers or chaperones.  We especially need parents to participate in the selection of mentors, and facilitating 1-on-1 mentor time.
Adult volunteers may need have to complete Safe Sanctuary training, background and driving record checks.

Cost
Trips and activities may have a cost (for transport and meals).  These will be communicated before each trip begins.
We want all youth that are ready, to participate - if there are any concerns about cost, contact Tim Jones at any time.

Permission and Waivers
This Confirmation program is a supplement to the Bethany Youth program. Registration for the main program is required - this process captures personal and health details, as well as permission to participate. This form means we will only need you to review and complete a form for major trips, like the offsite retreat - short trips will be communicated, but no form will need to be signed.
