A whimsical reinvention of Shakespeare's tragic love story, complete with rhymed couplets, creative wordplay, and fantastical machines -- similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with if he ever had his way with the script.

Auditions will take place at the Community Center, 250 E. Wood Street, on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m, and Friday, June 1, 6:00 -9:00 p.m.  Auditions will take place in Room 2C. This production will be directed by Mr. Christopher Pantelis, a Northern Illinois University graduate. In addition to being a skilled performer, Mr. Pantelis is also a seasoned Speech Coach at Warren High School.

Rehearsals will begin on Monday, June 4. The complete rehearsal schedule will be based upon cast conflicts.

There will be a $50 participation fee that will help cover production costs and support the program.

Performances will be at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 East Wood Street, Palatine

July 21, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.

Cast will also have the opportunity to participate in the Palatine Hometown Fest Parade, June 30, 2018.
