Field Trips
Group Field Trip on Day Two (Sunday 22 April). Please tick the activities you wish to experience whilst exploring the Abel Tasman park aboard the Sea Shuttle (you can choose all of them if you wish).  Please note field trips date and time may be altered if weather is unsuitable. *

For the field trip options, extra transport may be required. To keep our registration fee as low as possible, we need your help. *

Additional registration fee of $150.00 is required for children 5-15 years. Please enter the number and ages of children and their names.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation or postponement by the organisers for unforeseen circumstances, registration fees will be refunded in full. Participant cancellations notified to wānanga organisers before 5pm, 23rd of March 2018 will be refunded in full. Participant cancellations received after 5pm 23rd of March will be refunded 50% of registration. All participant cancellations received after 5pm, 18th of April 2018 will not be refunded and registrations would have to be paid in full. Field trips are subject to suitable weather conditions, we appreciate your support and understanding if we have to relocate or cancel.

Your registration fee covers professional development, airport transfers, all meals, field trips and marae style accommodation. You are welcome to source your own alternative accommodation, but this would be at your own expense.

Participants should arrange their own transport/airfare to the wānanga. If intending to travel by plane. Please provide us with your flight details. We will arrange a airport pick up and drop off to Nelson Airport on the morning of the 21st April and afternoon of 23rd April.

Equipment and Facilities
Toiletries, pen & paper, camera, ear plugs for light sleepers. Mattress, pillow, pillow case and sheets are supplied. Bring your own sleeping bag. Warm clothes and wet weather gear. Headlamp or torch. Wind proof jacket. Towel & togs. Snorkel equipment supplied (or bring your own). Good walking & in stream footwear (gumboots or waders).There may also be material available to purchase at the wānanga, such as mask & snorkels, books and t-shirts to support the programmes or our partners.
