Thank you for your interest in the Coalition for Sexuality & Gender Identities Coordinator position! We offer a variety of one-year Coordinator appointments that span across our four functional areas (advancement, administration, networking & equity) as a Coalition. Each Coordinator should expect to complete a one-year term from May 2018- May 2019 and commit a minimum of five hours a month to Coalition tasks and conference calls. Below you will find some expectations of the Directorate. Again, thank you for your interest and we look forward to your involvement!

Expectations:
Attend the 2019 ACPA Annual Convention, which is scheduled for SUNDAY, 3 MARCH, 2019 TO WEDNESDAY, 6 MARCH, 2019 in Boston, Massachusetts. Directorate members are expected to arrive on Friday, March 1st to attend CSGI specific meetings
Attend the annual Mid-Year Directorate Meeting. This year's MYM will be take place Friday-Sunday in June or July. CSGI will confirm the dates by the 2018 Convention in Houston.
Affirm the CSGI commitment to social justice and inclusion in values and membership, in all tasks and written documents.
Communicate regularly (including monthly conference calls) with the respective Vice Chair or Director regarding projects and assignments and respond promptly to requests for information/feedback from Directorate members.
Complete all tasks in a professional and timely manner.
Recruit/encourage Coalition involvement.
Not serve on any other Directorate Body (e.g., Coalitions, Commissions, or ACPA Governing Board) during term of CSGI Directorate position

Position Descriptions
Administration Coordinator (2 positions) - The Coordinators support the Vice Chair of Administration, the Director of Marketing and Communication and the Director of Administration in maintaining the CSGI website, using social media (Facebook & Twitter) to update the membership on various important issues, aiding in the maintenance of CSGI publications, aiding in the development and editing of all printed materials for the Coalition, promoting CSGI events, and helping develop logos and other Graphic Design needs.

Advancement Coordinator (2 positions) - The Coordinators support the Vice Chair for Advancement, the Director of Education and the Director of Development in planning educational initiatives and outreach to CSGI members, assisting with the CSGI Grant, planning CSGI Fundraisers, and assisting with planning of Cabaret.

Networking Coordinator (3 positions) - The Coordinators support the Vice Chair for Networking, the Director of Membership and the Director of Convention Programs in planning the Soirée, Identity Socials, the GetOUT Initiative, year round membership outreach, volunteer organization, CSGI video spotlights, selecting the CSGI sponsored programs, and selecting and hosting the NextGen Scholarship recipients at Convention.

Equity Coordinator (1 position) - The Coordinator supports the Equity Officer in the facilitation of the Coalition election process, coordinator application process, the facilitation of the coalitions rapid response protocol, facilitating strategic imperative for racial justice & decolonization educational engagement for CSGI directorate members, and lead coalition responses and initiatives related to equity & inclusion within and beyond the association.
