Monash Motorsport Driverless Application Form
Monash Motorsport is currently recruiting 3rd and 4th year Electrical and Mechatronics Engineering students to develop a fully autonomous Formula SAE race car.

We are looking for 4-6 students who can undertake a 12 credit-point FYP project in 2018, and a further 4-6 students who are due to complete their FYPs in 2019. These students will form the core of a new Driverless section, which will be responsible for the design and development of the following subsystems of an autonomous vehicle:

- Sensor systems (LiDAR, stereo cameras, GPS, INS, IMUs)
- Vehicle actuators (throttle, steering and brakes)
- Vehicle dynamics modelling
- Path planning (SLAM and related algorithms)

This will be done using our existing electric FSAE car as a basis. All FYPs will be co-supervised by Tom Drummond from ECSE and Scott Wordley from M+AE.

Applications are due by 6pm Wednesday, October 25 (SWOTVAC). If your application is successful, you will be notified that you have been shortlisted for an interview during SWOTVAC.

The form will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
