This may include your name, date of birth, address, telephone number etc.
Where will you store my data?
Data is stored in a shared electronic system accessed by members of Darkin Architects. Some of the data may be physically located outside of the EU. Paper copies of your data may also be stored securely and accessed by members of Darkin Architects.
How will you use my data?
Your data will primarily be used for the purpose of providing our service to you. We will also use data for the purposes of statistical monitoring. In some instances, Darkin Architects may contact you to invite you to participate in surveys or research projects about particular issues.
Can I withhold my consent?
Yes but Darkin Architects will not be able to provide a service. No personal data will be recorded, only what your enquiry was about.
What is a Data Controller?
A Data Controller is someone who is responsible for your data and who must make sure that your data is processed according to the law. For example they are responsible for making sure that the information held about you is accurate and that it is kept secure. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation the staff at Darkin Architects are Data Controllers in common.
What does Data Controller in common mean?
This means that the staff at Darkin Architects are responsible for your data when they use it to provide our service.
Why might you share my data? Who will you share it with?
We will only ever share your information with your permission, for the purposes we have stated (unless required to do so by law). If you have given us your permission to share data with others, they may contact you in relation to the service provided e.g. we may submit a planning application with your contact details and the local authority may contact you in relation to the application.
Your Rights
You have the right to access your data. You have the right to withdraw consent and further dissemination of data. You must be notified if there is a security breach.
