Call for Programme and Partner countries

The project “On the Rights Side“ is a multi-activity project including:

Training Course – Sicily, October 2015
multilateral Youth Exchange – Sicily, December 2015
multilateral Youth Exchange – Macedonia, December/January 2016

TRAINING COURSE : 12/10/2015 – 20/10/2015

We are looking for 10 Partners from EU countries to be involved in our project which will gather 22 participants from 20 to 35 years old in Sicily in October 2015, in order to promote European values and intercultural dimension against the spread of xenophobic positions supported by extremist movements and to highlight the risk of marginalization of human rights. Topics which will be faced are: Human Rights, intercultural learning, promotion of tolerance, European values, active participation of young people and impact (local impact) of the project.

YOUTH EXCHANGE : 29/12/2015 – 07/01/2016

During December 20157January 2016, two Youth Exchanges will be held one in Italy, Sicily and the second one in FYRO Macedonia.
Activities of the YE will follow the topic treated during the TC and adapted to the target group using Informal Education and NFE methods.

PROFILE OF PARTECIPATING ORGANISATION

In order to guarantee the follow up of the project we would like to involve organisations which are active in the work with young people in their own country. For this reason we ask to provide a detailed description of previous activities defining the type of follow up and visibility implemented at local level.

Selected organizations are in charge of sending participants with experience in the youth work and eager to share their best practices and experiences during the TC and later to spread knowledge among young people and run activities at local level.
Participants have to participate actively during the TC and be promoters of local actions once back to their own country.
