The NZGDA is proud to announce 2018’s New Zealand Game Developers Conference - a jam-packed, three day conference for game developers in New Zealand’s fastest growing creative sector. NZGDC18 will be hosted at Auckland’s Sky City Conference Centre on 1st-3rd August 2018.

We want this to be the best year yet, but we can’t do it alone! We are seeking a bunch of awesome friendly people to help out on the Wednesday (1st August), Thursday (2nd August) and Friday (3rd August) of the NZ Game Developers Conference 2018 (http://www.nz-gdc.com).

Volunteer orientation will be on the Wednesday morning and attendance is mandatory to make sure that the conference runs smoothly. You will be assigned to either the Thursday or the Friday of the conference to assist on, and may be assigned to the Wednesday or other conference events if you are available. Volunteering tasks will include helping monitor rooms and aid speakers, guide crowds, register attendees, fetch things and generally be asked to jump in wherever a helping hand is needed.

Volunteers will receive a free ticket to NZGDC18 for the day they are not volunteering on, and if volunteering on the Wednesday, will also be able to attend the workshops.
