Thank you so much for your interest in hosting Duolingo Events, and helping local language learners practice their conversation skills in a fun and social environment.

To ensure the safety of our hosts, attendees, and the local communities during the COVID-19 outbreak, we have suspended all in-person events. You can still apply and we’ll be in touch as soon as possible to onboard or update.

Here is how it works:
* You create fun events in your native language
* You organize events on a regular basis, at least once a month
* Duolingo drives traffic to your event
* Attendees sign up on Duolingo
* You get great perks!

To be a host, you must be:
* Fluent in the language of the event
* Creative and flexible as we create this new program together
* Excited to organize events regularly to help locals improve their language skills
* Experienced leading small groups or hosting events
