About The Coach
Caylin Hornish is a former top 10 Division 1 College Softball Player and current Girls Softball Private Trainer.

Caylin was a left-handed Pitcher/Catcher that refused to give up either position, which in the early 90’s you did not see very many left-handed catcher’s playing at any level of competitive softball.  She excelled in both positions at a young age and continuing into high school ball was still doing both; pitching for her Varsity High School, and catching for her Travel Ball Team.  Caylin played many years of ASA top competitive travel ball starting at the age of 11 for the Athletics, Gordon’s Panthers and then finished 18U GOLD playing for Tony Rico on his original Worth Firecracker team.  She was recruited by college programs starting at a young age, and ended up accepting a full athletic scholarship to play softball for Cal State University Fullerton when Coach Michelle Gromacki had taken over the head coaching position.  After two years at Fullerton Caylin decided to transfer schools, and finished her last two years of NCAA softball on a full scholarship at Loyola Marymount University.  She has been coaching off and on since high school giving lessons to young players, but really started giving full time lessons and running camps/clinics once she graduated from college.

We are very excited to bring Caylin to IGSA to run our January clinic!
