What is the difference between singles ramp unassisted and singles ramp assisted? *

With unassisted, the athlete aims the ramp unassisted. With assisted, an assistant aims the ramp based on cues given from the athlete, but must have his/her back to the pins.

With unassisted, an athlete rolls the ball down the ramp, although an assistant is allowed to put the ball on the ramp for them. The assistant may not bowl the ball, however.

With both unassisted and assisted, bowlers may be to bowl up to five frames consecutively.

Which of the following statements are true in regards to filing a protest? *

Protestable subjects include- A misapplication of the rules, a clerical error, a mistake in the final results, or a failure to follow a meet procedure (such as disqualifying a late team before the 10 minute threshold).

Non-protestable subjects include- Any judgment decision pertaining to violations or alleged violations of the rules, A decision made by the official(s) that does not involve misapplication of a rule, or terms and conditions of competition, whether a start is fair or legal.

If a coach wishes to protest, the protest must first be approved by the venue director, who may accept or deny the request.

The protest must be filed within 30 minutes of the game in question's conclusion.
