CAPA SCHOLARS APPLICATION
The prestigious Scholars Award was established by CAPA to encourage the educational advancement of APA youth in Michigan and to foster youth involvement and leadership in the APA Community.
Scholars Award are intended for full-time high school seniors who will attend an institution of higher education in the State of Michigan and who will continue to reside in Michigan. We encourage candidates to be involved and serve on CAPA's Youth Committee or volunteer for APA events to give back to the APA community. Two winners will receive $500 Scholars Award and one winner will receive $1,000 Scholars Award at CAPA’s Splendor of the East reception. The recipient(s) will be chosen by CAPA’s Education Committee, which will base its selection upon the applicants’ potential to provide outstanding APA leadership and/or community service in Michigan.


CAPA SCHOLARS AWARD

ELGIBILITY:  Full time high school seniors who will attend an institution in the State of Michigan and stay in Michigan. The Awardees will have to serve on CAPA’s youth committee and volunteer at CAPA events.

Eligible students must submit their application by the deadline and the finalists must attend the interview for the final selection. The decision of CAPA’s award committee is final.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE:   March 31, 2018

INTERVIEW DATE:  Interviews will be held around April 8, 2018 with dates to be announced to all finalists. The interview is mandatory for selected finalists who will be contacted after all the applications are received.
