In the space below, please write a brief biography (3-5 sentences) that describes yourself, your career, and your research interests.  This biography will be released with our Wetland Ambassadors Program Announcement so that prospective Wetland Ambassadors can determine which research mentor they might like to work with for the duration of their visiting fellowship.

In the space below, please write a specific project summary (3-5 sentences) that describes the project that you would like a potential Wetland Ambassador to work on during the duration of their visiting fellowship.  This project summary will be released with our Wetland Ambassadors Program Announcement.  Student applicants will select their top 3 choices and we will work with you to make a match if the student is accepted.

Accepted Wetland Ambassadors will be granted between $3000-$5000 each from the Society of Wetland Scientists, depending on the number of students accepted.  However, we ask that prospective research mentors, as well as their existing graduate advisers at their home institutions, work with the students to secure additional forms of financial support (e.g. travel support, housing, meal plan, research costs, etc).  Therefore, in the space below, please indicate whether you have any funding that a Wetland Ambassador might be able to benefit from during their fellowship in the Summer of 2019.  Please note that you do not have to have a source of funding in order to participate as a research mentor, although this is often helpful.
