Backyard Chicken Survey
Many chicken owners have a problem with protecting their chickens from predators.  A backyard chicken owner in the Midlands of South Carolina from 2014-2015 reported 12 of their chickens were killed by an unknown predator at night.  Studies show that predators are more prone to attack unprotected chickens at night due to not enough protection offered to these animals.
