Founded in 1978 by Dr. Stuart Kandell, Stagebridge is the nation’s oldest senior theatre and an award-winning pioneer in the field of Creative Aging. Stagebridge transforms the lives of older adults and their communities through the performing arts. We offer professionally led, participatory arts programs for seniors, intergenerational education programs for elementary school students, outreach performances and workshops to active and frail seniors, as well as training programs for health and service providers utilizing the arts.
