2017 Midnight Mile Parent VOLUNTEER Form
Midnight Mile is an event that includes over 50% of the DMS student population.  This year we have 500+ student participants and 20+ parent participants, which is the largest Midnight Mile has ever been.  This event depends on the amazing volunteers that donate their time to give our DMS students a great opportunity and an experience that will last a lifetime.

Volunteers are one of the most important parts of the Midnight Mile.  This event would not be possible without your help!

Please fill out the form below.  Once received, Mr. Bishop or Ms. Omsberg will contact you regarding your selections.

Thank you for volunteering at the 2017 Midnight Mile!

Setup and Clean-up Crews
Volunteers are key to the success of the Midnight Mile.  Help is needed to run the event from 9:00 AM on September 29th until 10:00 AM on September 30th.  However, setting up/cleaning up the event allows for a great start and a clean finish.

**We are looking for at least fifteen (15) volunteers to help setup after school on Thursday, September 28th, from 4:00-6:30 PM.

**We are looking for at least fifteen(15) volunteers to help clean up after the event on Saturday, September 30th, from 8:00-10:30 AM.

In past years, setup has taken seven hours and clean up would take four hours, which means the core six teachers/event directors would be left handling everything after running the event for twenty-four straight hours.

We had great volunteers who assisted with setup and clean-up last few years.  Setup was complete in a record two and a half hours and clean-up was done in two hours.

This entire event is centered around volunteers.

Please take time to consider helping us setup and clean up the event in addition to volunteering for a shift during the event.

Thank you!
