2018 Communities to Build Active STEM Engagement (CBASE) Undergraduate Research Communities Application
Thank you for your interest in the CBASE Student Research Program. CBASE is a US Department of Education funded HSI STEM grant. Our purpose is to increase the amount of hands-on undergraduate research, improve undergraduate research literacy, and provide support for students within the undergraduate Research Communities. These research opportunities are paid positions and the level of financial support depends on completed credit and research levels. Students will be provided with faculty mentors, additional academic support, opportunities to travel to present research, and access to research equipment and supplies. In addition, Research Interns (rising sophomores or entry level researchers) will have student mentors (JR/SR Research Fellows) and both must attend required student sessions.
