INTRODUCTION

WELCOME to the Chilton County School District Strategic Planning Survey!

The District is in the process of creating a Strategic Plan to make sure it continues to align well with the needs of our schools and the values of our community. This stakeholder survey is one important part of that process.

Please share your thoughts regarding the mission, vision and values of our school system. The results of this survey will be carefully considered, along with school-based data, and used to guide collaborative discussion that will determine the direction of the Chilton County School District in the next five years.

This survey consists of 25 questions and takes approximately five to fifteen minutes to complete, depending on how many comments you choose to include. Your contribution to the Strategic Planning Process through this survey will be greatly appreciated.

MISSION
The following mission statement is intended to reflect the primary purpose of the school system: "The Mission of the Chilton County School District is to provide a safe environment for challenging educational experiences which enables all students to succeed to their individual potential in a rapidly changing global community. This is a shared commitment of the students, parents, educators, and community members."  The next three questions are related to the Mission of the Chilton County School District as it is currently articulated.

VISION
The Vision describes what Chilton County Schools should look like as the Mission is carried out and the District remains true to its beliefs. The District articulates four vision statements that describe what success would look like. It should describe what one sees in the Chilton County Schools today.
