2017–2018 Omega TA application
Job duties: Setting up microphone and A/V for lecture, taking roll daily in Human Situation lecture, sending attendance reports to faculty daily, managing communications to the student listserv, scheduling the Oral Final Exam, assisting the team leader with teaching-related prep work. Mandatory hours are MWF from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., plus time (as necessary) to send same-day attendance reports by 5:00 p.m., plus approximately 20 hours (flexible and as needed) at the end of the semester for scheduling the Oral Final Exam. There may also be occasional after-hours course communications that need to be sent out via the listserv. Applicants must be available for 15 hours of paid training (to be scheduled with the outgoing TA) toward the end of the Spring 2017 semester. Pay for the position is hourly.
