Dear Student and Parent,

The Greenfield High School Administration and Student Services Department would like to extend a warm invitation for you to our Parent/Student Orientation Program on Monday, February 04, 2019 at Greenfield High School. This night is for all eighth grade students attending Greenfield Middle School, eighth grade students attending private/parochial schools, as well as all other current GHS students. The goal of the night is to learn about and have a deeper understanding of all that GHS has to offer.

The night will begin promptly at 5:30 pm. All students of the Class of 2023 (freshman in the Fall of 2019) will begin with a presentation in the Greenfield High School Performing Arts Center. At the conclusion of that presentation, teachers from all departments will be stationed in the hallways. This is the opportunity for students and parents to ask questions, learn about programming, and connect with GHS faculty.  School Counselors will be available to answer general questions.

There will also be an opportunity to hear about the extracurricular opportunities at GHS and you will have the option to tour the building with current GHS Students.

Please help us plan for the evening by indicating whether or not you plan on attending by Friday, February 1st, 2019. Even if you are considering a transfer to one of the private schools in the area, we encourage you to attend this information meeting to learn about the excellent educational opportunities offered to students at Greenfield High School.

PLEASE NOTE: Because of the importance of this meeting, we are asking all eighth grade students to be accompanied by their parent(s) for this meeting. Please bring the “Academic and Career Planning Guide” to this meeting as extra copies will not be available. Students will receive this booklet during the school day on Friday, February 1st as part of a presentation given by their high school counselor.
