International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) Application
The International Baccalaureate Career-Related Programme (IBCP) is a hybrid of IB Diploma Programme courses with Taft’s career-related courses such as Entrepreneurship, Digital Media, Web Design, JROTC, CPFTA (Chicago Police & Fire Training Academy), Theater Production & Drama, Journalism and Physical Training.
IBCP was specifically designed to give students the ability to specialize in and focus on a career-related education along with challenging themselves with IB Diploma Programme courses.
The programme’s three-part framework comprises of career-related studies, the study of at least two IB Dipolma Programme courses, and the unique IBCP, Personal & Professional Skills core course, which is intended to build a bridge that connects each student’s chosen IB Diploma Programme courses with their career-related studies.
Once the IBCP application is completed, you will receive an email for an interview with Ms. Zucchero and the IBCP counselor. During the interview you will receive the letter of recommendation form that must be completed by your current English teacher. Please make sure you provide the correct CPS email address.
