Community Physician Interviewer Sign-up
Thank you for your interest in assisting with interviews for the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Traditionally, interview teams consist of 2-3 key players: Biomedical Faculty, Clinicians, and Second-Year Students. We are excited to now have the opportunity to involve Physicians from the Community within this process! Serving as an Interviewer is an excellent opportunity to become involved in the UNE COM community at a different level and to play an important role in creating the COM Class of 2023.
The Interview Season begins in September and will go through March. We interview on most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with two session per day (AM and PM session). Each interview is 30 minutes. To prepare for the Fall Interview schedule, please take a look at the dates below to determine when you may be available. Our goal is to interview as many students as we did last year (over 680), maintaining a heavier load in the fall and lightening the pace in spring.
To prepare you to be a COM Interviewer, we will provide you with virtual training and resources. All application and file review will also happen electronically, using the web-based WebAdmit software. Once your dates are confirmed, applications will be released to you one week prior to your confirmed interview date.
With all of that in mind, please take extra care as you examine your schedule and select dates for interviewing. Once you have indicated your availability below, please consider it held. Dates will be confirmed prior to the start of the interview season.
