Place Makes Salon: Artist Application
Salons are intimate gatherings across NYC where 2-3 artists (musicians, dancers, brewers, chefs, writers, designers etc.) share their work with a new audience.

What does a Salon event mean for the artist?

A 30 minute "act":
(~10 mins) A brief interview about your work and process
(~10 mins) Share 1-2 examples of your work
(~10 mins) A mini-workshop for the audience

We've learned that focusing on a small work and a very specific workshop works best—we'll help you craft your 30 min act!

We pay our artists: we will split all ticket proceeds evenly between 2-3 artists and Place Makes (simply to cover costs of the event)
