Reality Games is a product company divided into two sectors: Mobile Gaming and Big Data. We are one of the first movers on the market - creating a new genre of mobile games – games based on Big Data as content. We have launched our prototype that managed to get global traction of 7 mln players, and helped us to build a team of 40 people.We have 3 projects in advanced development (alpha & beta). We have bought out our investors last year, and we keep growing on organically generated revenue. We are based in UK, but our R&D is located in the amazing Krakow Technology Park in Poland. We are now looking to complete our founding team, by bringing in a CTO/ Co-founder whose main task will be the technical lead of our vision. Our current CTO is leaving the company for personal reasons. He will be available for the entire transition time. The new CTO will become a part of our founding team (CEO, and COO).

Responsibilites:
Understand and co-define the goals of the company
Define and communicate specific goals for technical teams
Define and optimize processes and ensure that they get implemented by technical teams
Design and enforce team structures
Extend, reduce or split teams where required
High-level architecture of technical systems ready for allowing scalable and fast growth, especially for:
o   Backend development (Game Engine)
o   Business intelligence / Data warehouse
o   Data crawling
o   Security
Identify and enforce best-fit technologies
Ensuring strict single-purpose architecture (Lambda & Micro-services)
Ensuring high available architecture
Progressive usage of new and early-stage technologies
Ensure result driven, agile and iterative methodologies

Technologies we use:
Lambda Architecture with self-built execution infrastructure (Lambda Engine) for different languages to run.
